Performing at The Brunswick, Brighton

We’re making our debut in Brighton and performing at The Brunswick, this Thursday 17th August. It’s the first time we’ve played in Brighton and we’re really looking forward to seeing what kind of reaction we’ll get from the crowd there and to meeting lots of people!

It’s going to be a great night. Starting at 8:00pm, we’re going to open instrumentally and work through some of our cracking set list. Steve Grainger will be on Sax alongside Steve Kemp on Trumpet. We’ll do an amazing set that will include tunes from Ezra Collective, Snarky Puppy, Herbie Hancock, John Scofield and a whole host more. You’ll see some hot musicianship going on in this 7 piece line up.

Kat Abel of Alma Twist performing at a festival this year.
A quick fifteen-minute break and at 9:00 we’ll be handing the stage over to Kat Abel and her band Alma Twist. Some in Brighton might already know Kat. She’s an amazing singer, keyboard player and composer. Thoroughly modern compositions and full of energy, her neo-soul inspired work will bring you to your feet. Beautiful, intriguing, and uplifting. Olski performing with The Groove Surgeons at The Wickham Festival this year,.
Another break, then we’ll be moving on to Olski and The Groove Surgeons. Oli is a talented composer, vocalist and rapper. This is a hip-hop and funk/soul-led set. We’ll be performing an extended version, which we recently performed at SoFar Sounds in Southampton. It’ll be a blistering end to the evening!
** Not forgetting that Brandon will also be mixing at the start, during the intervals and at the end of the gig!
